In the case of a Private Limited Company
- Certificate of Incorporation or CIN No.
- PAN Card of Firm.
- Aadhaar Card and PAN Card of directors.
- Firm’s Cancel Cheque.
- Copy of Rent Agreement or Electricity Bill Copy of the registered office address.
In the case of Proprietorship
- Aadhaar Card and PAN Card of Individual.
- Firm’s Cancel Cheque.

In the case of LLP Company

Benefits of getting IEC code
The IEC code is the most important required document to enter the international market. The international market allows any business to reach the global market. It increases the global reach of the market and provides an opportunity for businesses to grow and expand.
IEC code registration is a one-time process that is valid for a lifetime. There will be no requirement for the renewal of IEC registration.
What to do in case you lose the IEC number?
If you misplace your IEC number, the issuing authority may consider requests for the grant of a duplicate copy of the IEC number if accompanied by an affidavit.
What to do if you no longer want the IEC number?
If you are not willing to use the IEC number, the same can be legally surrendered by informing the issuing authority. On receipt of such intimation, the issuing authority shall immediately cancel the same and electronically transmit it to DGFT for onward transmission to the Customs and Regional Authorities.
How to get IEC (import Export code)
We can get the Import-Export code online by registering ourselves online at the official site of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. The steps are given below that we need to fill to get the IEC code: –
Step 1: – The first step is to visit the official website of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade and register ourselves as new users. Then click on apply for IEC.https://www.dgft.gov.in/CP/%20
Step 2: - After that, we need to fill in the required information to get register as a new user. For that, Go to Register Tab to register the user as IMPORTER/EXPORTER by filling the basic along with OTP verification.
Step 3: – After doing Email and Mobile OTP verification. We will get the Login Id and password over your registered email.
Step 4: – In this step, you need to login in by using the login Id and password that you have received over email.
Step 5: – After login first we need to change our password to keep our password safe.
Step 6: – Then, you need to go to Apply IEC Tab to get started with your application filling.
Step 7: – Then click on Start Fresh Application.
Step 8: – After that, we have to fill in all the required details and attach the required document.
Step 9: – After applying, pay the application fee of INR 500.
Step 10: – Post payment approval, you will receive the IEC certificate in your registered email.
